It highlights one of the things I miss about working/travelling/living in London – the diversity of people. From amazing clothes to knelling face down on the seats, you’ve got to love the people of London.

I always say it’s impossible to really stand out in London, as this photo shows with the people sitting around the guy kneeling over not giving a shit.

1. I’ve worked in croydon for 18 months and can confirm that so far, although I’ve had some good times;

“Nobody ever wakes up, and punches the air when they know a morning in Croydon awaits them.”

2. Everyone knows someone like “Rob”. They travel the world regularly, know someone in every country and always have a great story to tell, usually involving a near death experience. I’ve never been jealous of their life, but it’s always good to hear what they’ve been up to.

I’m always interested to read other peoples fresh experiences of the city, especially visitors from other countries, as I think it’s good to be reminded of some of the everyday things which you can so easily get used to.

A recent post by a Canadian called Adrienne about the tube is an excellent example of this as she talks about standing on the right on escalators. It’s something which never crosses my mind as I naturally slip in to standing position or march past the other commuters. Good to hear we do some things right here.
